This evening I spent some time going through old posts. I’m amazed at how my writing has evolved, and also how much more content I have in each post.
I’m a pro at relaxing and chilling and have devised the perfect way to unwind.
Sundays are the ultimate chill day. I wish I could say I go out for brunch with friends, but I’d be lying if I did! I love a good brunch, but I love just staying home on Sundays and relaxing with a good book, a cup of tea and some music.
I always used to blog. I’d make sure I blogged twice a week. But recently I’ve been quite quiet on here. Moving to London and coming back to the UK from being home for a while has made me do a lot of re-evaluating (to be honest I am always re-evaluating) about my life and where I am going career wise.
Many people are spending the day with their dad as it is Father’s Day. But, as my lovely dad is all the way in NZ, I will write a post about all the things my dad taught me.
I wanted to post when on holiday but unfortunately I’ve been unwell and am in hospital in the Netherlands.
I was staying with my cousin and if it weren’t for her I probably wouldn’t have gone to the hospital and I probably wouldn’t be here.
I’ll get back to writing as soon as I feel well enough.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing. It’s a beautiful day to be alive.
I had a really good day. It’s almost like I got my teaching mojo back. For ages I’d just been really depressed about what I was doing…but yesterday I went to an interview and they were talking about using pictures and videos and everything that I used to do back home.
Recently I’ve been struggling with blogging because it seems like I have nothing interesting to write about. And I hate just writing rubbish and chucking it up on my blog for the sake of posting something. So, I’ve been taking some steps towards getting my blogging brain back. Hopefully this will help those of you who go through times when your blogging brain just isn’t working!
I currently am struggling a lot with updating my blog.
I’m not in the best job at the moment and when I get home I just don’t feel like blogging.
Hopefully I get my blogging mindset back soon.
Maybe I will try a writing prompt from wordpress.
Christmas is a draining time of year for many. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Christmas. It’s my favourite time of year. Especially with it being Summer here in NZ. But still, there are so many things to be done at this time of year. Work is ‘over’ for another year (as is school and University). Presents need to be bought, houses need to be decorated and baking and cooking needs to be prepared.
There are a few things I do to mentally prepare for this time of year:
On Sunday #nzbloggers hosted a bloggers chat about our favourite music and whether we write when listening to music. I hate silence and I love listening to music as I write and as I drive etc. So, I thought I’d do a post on my favourite music for writing.
