One of my favourite dresses at the moment is a Miss Patina sundress.
Yesterday my Opa held his 80th birthday party. I had a lovely time.
I took a long time deciding what to wear. I was going to wear one of my 1960s skirts and a lacy top but then I went shopping at Smoove in Auckland.
I bought 2 lovely dresses.
The one I chose to wear was black with flowers. I also wore my floral stockings and 1940s high heels.
I love how the dress seems so delicate. I think the floral pattern helps with that!
I can’t wait to show you the other dress I got.
If you haven’t been to Smoove yet and you live in Auckland, you should definitely go. It is a great shop and the people are really lovely in there. They have a selection of clothing – from Vintage reworked to brand new clothes. They have really awesome skirts with cool patterns of skylines etc.

I have frequented a lot of vintage shops whilst living in the UK.
Especially ones in London. There are so many and they range from cheap to very expensive.
I have managed to find quite a few nice items while browsing their shelves. Sometimes I buy and sometimes I don’t. So this list will be based off atmosphere and browseability (which may or may not be a word).
One of my favourite fashion eras is the 60s.
Fashion changed so much within a short space of time and I am quite in love with miniskirts.
Recently I discovered ‘Bamble Vintage’. As you can probably tell from it’s name: it is a vintage shop!
And I am so glad I discovered it. There are some really lovely gems on there (and I want to buy everything). Continue reading “Bamble Vintage”
On Saturday I went to London for a lindy hop social/class. It was heaps of fun. I wish I lived in/near London so that I could go to lessons more often.
