As some of you know, I recently went on a Contiki tour of Italy. I always thought I wasn’t the sort of person who would do a Contiki, because I am not a partier. However, when I got on the tour I realised, that despite all of our differences, we were all similar – looking to experience the culture, history and food of Italy.
Wow, the last few weeks have flown by. It feels like yesterday that my mum and dad flew in. I can’t believe it is their last day here tomorrow as we fly out in the evening to go back to NZ. I am going home for about a month as my sister is getting married.
After August I am planning on doing a lot more travel.
Just so you know, I quit my job because I was very unhappy and have decided to do a guaranteed supply teaching contract in London. I have heard mixed things about it. But I am just looking forward to having a little more time to focus on me and what I want to do.
It seems just like yesterday that I moved overseas. And man, what a change it has been on my life. To be honest, I thought I’d be living in a more interesting place and that I would have made heaps more friends. But, Clacton is….well, Clacton.
Utrecht is a place I have wanted to go to for a long, long time. I have heard from many people that it is a beautiful place. So, I decided to head there and see whether it was as beautiful as people had been saying.
I’m going to Paris tomorrow. I am so excited about this mini weekend break. I have always dreamed of going to Paris and finally, after such a long time, I am going there.
Hello all. Well I’m back into the land of blogging. I had to take a little break for a bit (yes, I did update about how to get your blogging brain back), but here I am. Ready to blog again. Hopefully. This weekend is Easter and then I have 2 weeks break for school term break.
