3 Pairs Of Shoes I Absolutely Love

Shoes are probably my favourite item of all time.  Not so long ago I boasted 30 pairs of shoes in my wardrobe.  But, I have downsized since then and kept a ‘capsule wardrobe of shoes’.

It is so hard to just decide on 3 pairs of shoes that I LOVE, but I tried my best.

What I Wore Today: Smoove Blouse and Midi Skirt

I love summer because it means I can get my midi skirts and Smoove blouses out from the back of my wardrobe.

Smoove is by far one of my favourite shops in Auckland.  It is a shop filled with reworked vintage dresses and blouses and there are also plenty of cool modern clothes there too!

Top Picks For A Spring Wardrobe

Spring has sprung.  The weather feels slightly warmer…or that might just be me telling myself it’s warmer when it actually isn’t.

Favourite Skirt Length For Summer – The Midi

In New Zealand we have just finished Summer, although it doesn’t really feel like it! The sun is still shining, it is still hot and I hope that this lovely weather continues.

These Boots Are Made For Walking – A Wanderlust Wishlist

A while ago, I put up a post talking about where I wanted to travel to this year.  The choices were the UK or Croatia.  Unfortunately, since that time, my funding has run out (aka, my savings account was depleted of all funds because I needed to renovate the kitchen of my house).  However, I am currently getting my place ready to rent out and my parents have said I can stay at home to save.  Not necessarily for travel, but to pay off my mortgage (but, I am going to put money away for travel anyway).

In January next year I am thinking of going to England to teach. My Great-Uncle said I could also live with him and my Great-Aunt in the Netherlands.   So I have to choose – England or Netherlands.

Since I will be living overseas for a while from next year, I have compiled a list of must see places.  I know I won’t be able to visit all of these places in one summer, because there is so much to see in each country.  But, I can visit these places during other holidays too!  These are places I have seen photos of, seen in movies or just places I think sound amazing to visit!

1) Croatia

I love the look of the crystal-clear water, the kayaking and can just picture myself there.

This is the first place I’ll go to in the Summer holidays.

2) Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar

I’ve always wanted to go to Bosnia and Herzegovina.  I’d especially love to visit Sarajevo.

3) France

France is a place I’ve dreamed of going to for many years.  My brother went there and said that Paris is a beautiful city, but it is also important to get out of Paris and visit other areas of France.

4) Germany

I learnt German for 7 years from Intermediate school until I finished High School.  I better put my German to practise before I forget it completely.  I haven’t spoken German for nearly 7 years (since I left high school) – but I can read it.

5) Greece

I’ve wanted to go to Greece since I was a little girl.  My Opa asked me where I wanted to visit and so I went to a giant map closed my eyes and pointed to a random place on the map. My finger ended up landing on Greece and ever since then I’ve dreamed of going there.  I would love to go to Meteora Monasteries.

For the first time in my life, I will be on holiday on my birthday (my birthdays in August) and it will be summer time.  Normally it is winter and middle of term time! I would love to spend my birthday in:

Salzburg, Austria.

Reason: Do I need one?  Well, I have a reason anyway.  I love Apple Strudel, Mozart and Sound of Music 😀  I studied Music from a very young age and Salzburg to me is the city of Music.  It looks beautiful and I can imagine I’d have the best birthday ever – whether I’m by myself or with friend 🙂

I haven’t put the UK on this list, because there is a likelihood I’ll be living there.

What do you think of this list?
