My parents have come to visit me for Christmas and since some of my mum’s family came from Hockwold before they moved to NZ, we decided to spend Christmas in Hockwold.
Today I went to Bromley South to go to the shops. I think I will go there quite often for shopping or days out. It is a nice place to go as there are lots of good shops e.g. Next, Primark, Topshop.
Recently I discovered ‘Bamble Vintage’. As you can probably tell from it’s name: it is a vintage shop!
And I am so glad I discovered it. There are some really lovely gems on there (and I want to buy everything). Continue reading “Bamble Vintage”
Yesterday I went to Ipswich for the day. I had a lovely walk around the waterfront area and did a spot of shopping.
Now, since this is a fashion/travel and sometimes beauty blog I couldn’t do a post without mentioning my shopping in Oslo.
I’m going on an advennnntuuurrreeee!!!!
Seriously, I’m so excited about this. I know it’s only for the weekend (and oh, how I wish it could be longer), but it’s still my first mini-trip as an expat.
This morning I went to Camden Market. I wish I had more time to spend there because the number of stalls is astronomical! Granted, a lot of them are ‘tourist’ stalls – London hoodies, beanies, hats etc. But there were some stalls that seemed really good.
I decided to do a day in the life post today. It’s something I’ve never done before.
It can be hard looking for quality clothes in op-shops these days. Especially when a lot of Op-shops sell clothes for a hefty price tag (I’m looking at you Recycle Boutique and Tatty’s). I question how these shops can call themselves op-shops if they sell clothes by Trelise Cooper etc? How are they vintage, retro or second hand.
I’m sorry! I was supposed to put this up yesterday but I was too busy sorting out my Media Kit. If you want to check it out look at my new page ‘PR’ on the menu.
