As some of you know, I recently went on a Contiki tour of Italy. I always thought I wasn’t the sort of person who would do a Contiki, because I am not a partier. However, when I got on the tour I realised, that despite all of our differences, we were all similar – looking to experience the culture, history and food of Italy.
Recently I went on holiday to Italy. I had a few days in Sorrento as part of my tour, and one of the optionals was going to Capri for the day.
Once again, I apologise for the delay in my posting updates. It seems like this keeps happening…I get too busy with life to actually work on my blog and write posts.
I’ve realised that I love blogging, but I only want to post quality…rather than quantity. For a long time I was concerned about the number of likes and follows I got for each post, but I started getting bored because there is only so much I can write about fashion and travel.
I love finding little treasures when I travel. Some of my favourite things are very unique to certain countries and some I have found at little markets. It’s funny how these little things remind me of holidays or weekend breaks.
Last weekend when I went to Milan, I stayed in a town called Bergamo. There is an international airport there that has flights direct from Stansted. Bergamo is a beautiful Italian town. I went into the Old City and spent all of Sunday there.
Last weekend I went to Milan.
I flew out late Friday night and arrived there at about 11pm.
It was both the most amazing, yet exhausting weekend.
Milan, Italy was stunning. I have always dreamed of going to Italy and I have to admit, even though I was only there for two days, I fell in love with Italy.
