This evening I spent some time going through old posts. I’m amazed at how my writing has evolved, and also how much more content I have in each post.
Shoes are probably my favourite item of all time. Not so long ago I boasted 30 pairs of shoes in my wardrobe. But, I have downsized since then and kept a ‘capsule wardrobe of shoes’.
It is so hard to just decide on 3 pairs of shoes that I LOVE, but I tried my best.
I always used to blog. I’d make sure I blogged twice a week. But recently I’ve been quite quiet on here. Moving to London and coming back to the UK from being home for a while has made me do a lot of re-evaluating (to be honest I am always re-evaluating) about my life and where I am going career wise.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing. It’s a beautiful day to be alive.
I had a really good day. It’s almost like I got my teaching mojo back. For ages I’d just been really depressed about what I was doing…but yesterday I went to an interview and they were talking about using pictures and videos and everything that I used to do back home.
Recently I’ve been struggling with blogging because it seems like I have nothing interesting to write about. And I hate just writing rubbish and chucking it up on my blog for the sake of posting something. So, I’ve been taking some steps towards getting my blogging brain back. Hopefully this will help those of you who go through times when your blogging brain just isn’t working!
I currently am struggling a lot with updating my blog.
I’m not in the best job at the moment and when I get home I just don’t feel like blogging.
Hopefully I get my blogging mindset back soon.
Maybe I will try a writing prompt from wordpress.
We have half term coming up at the end of this week. I’ve been so excited about it. I decided to spend the week in Bath.
On Sunday #nzbloggers hosted a bloggers chat about our favourite music and whether we write when listening to music. I hate silence and I love listening to music as I write and as I drive etc. So, I thought I’d do a post on my favourite music for writing.
I love blogging and I love planning. I like knowing what I am going to post about. However, there are times when I just write and ignore my plan. Sometimes that is the best way to go.
Lately I’ve been getting more inspiration from just going ‘blah blah blah’ than actually writing fashion and beauty pieces. I don’t know why. I love fashion and makeup and I truly aspire to work in fashion one day (soon I hope). But sometimes I just need a break.
