I love a good, soft chocolate bikkie. I love baking biscuits too. So, it’s really great that the bikkies I bake are the perfect type.
This afternoon I made a lemon tart. Unfortunately the recipe I was going to use needed cream, so I had to look for one online without cream.
One of my favourite days of the week is Friday. I always meet my Mum and Dad after work for afternoon tea.
I love Chinese food. Today my Mum, Dad and I went to a Chinese restaurant after my Mum and I got our hair cut. We are both pixie chicks. I don’t think I’d ever go back to long hair because I love short hair so much!
I had a baking day today. It was Mother’s Day, so I decided to make mum a yummy cake and some cupcakes. I made 6 plain cupcakes and 6 chocolate cupcakes. Both have Lemon Butter Icing (my favourite icing flavour in the world is lemon).
This cake lives up to its name. It is truly devilishly good. It is one of those cakes that always turns out well. Plus, it is fat free (well, margarine/butter free).
One of my favourite things to bake is Ontbijtkoek. It is yummy and full of spices like cloves and cinnamon. This is from a Dutch recipe book that my Oma and Opa gave my mum.
Yummy American style pancakes from the Nigella Lawson ‘How to Be a Domestic Goddess’ book.
