City Loving

I am a city girl.  I grew up in a city.  I have never liked being stuck in a small town.  Which is why I was so happy to get out of Clacton and spend my Sunday exploring London.

I love London.  It’s definitely a huge, culturally diverse city and is always an interesting place to go to.

Yesterday I went to Portobello Market.  It was pretty quiet this time.  The last time I went it was really, really busy.

I was looking for napkin rings for my mum.  So I thought I’d have a look at the antiques.  Unfortunately I didn’t manage to find any.

After wandering around there for a bit I headed back to Trafalgar Square.

One of the reasons why I love London is, like I said the diversity.  I also love it because of the museums and markets.  I love the tube because it is such an easy way to get around.  But I also love walking around the city.  I never get tired of it because every time I go there I find something new to fall in love with.

I hope you all had a fantabulous weekend.

  1. I lived in London for over 2 years and I was also struck by its diversity, a true melting pot of cultures! I mentioned the exact same aspect on my article about London, if you feel like having a look 🙂
