I’m trying to go to heaps of places that I love in Auckland before heading off on my OE (Overseas Experience). Today my mum and I went to the Auckland Museum too have a look at the Air NZ 75 Years Exhibition.
It was very interesting looking at all the old uniforms that they had. You can really see how the fashions of the times influenced the designers. The weirdest ones would have been the ones from the 80s-90s. Although the one designed in (around) 2005 looks pretty strange.
I got my photographer (thanks mum!) to take some photos of me there:
We then went outside and had some lunch at the gardens there. We saw a guy dressed very strangely…he was wearing a checked shirt that was unbuttoned and some 3/4 length pants/leggings. And barefeet. It was a ‘you had to be there’ moment.
After lunch mum took some more photos for me (she really is the best! What am I going to do when I’m not at home!).
Today I wore the Wilson Trollope skirt that I got at fashion week. A Blouse from Smoove and gold sandals by Sachi that I got at Smith and Caugheys. I also used my favourite red bag that I got in Milford Mall at a shop called Fibre.
I had a super dooper day!
