A Tricky Eyeliner – Calvin Klein Electric Edge

I love liquid eyeliner, so when I got a free Calvin Klein Electic Edge (brown) liquid eyeliner pen for free in December last year, I was really excited.

However, since then I have only used it a few times.
There are a few reasons for that:

It is tricky to apply.

For some reason it seems dry.  I don’t know if this is because it is from December…but surely eyeliners shouldn’t be best before so soon?

Since it is dry it sort of cracks and flakes on my eyelid.  It doesn’t seem to ‘glide’ on like other liquid eyeliners.  It doesn’t cover all the area on my eyelid that I want it to cover.  It sort of leeches into the creases on my eyelid and just becomes all blotchy and yuck.

I have only used it a few times and I haven’t thrown it out because I thought it’d get easier to apply as time went by.

Sorry for this incredibly creepy half open eye look (LOL)…it’s the only way I could show you that the eyeliner goes all weird.

It doesn’t look too bad from a distance, or when my eyes are fully open. However, as you can see the liner has moved to the top of my eyelid when I’ve opened my eyes.

This is a makeup product that I would love to love, but I can’t help disliking it.

What products have you had that you dislike?
