How I Find Style Inspiration

Style inspiration is so important.  I love the Vintage look but always try to add modern elements.  Since I have my favourite look and style, I thought I’d share how I find inspiration.

1)  Google.

I google people whose fashion I admire.  E.g. Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Alexa Chung.

2) Pinterest.

I can spend hours on pinterest looking at Vintage clothes, fashion shoots and shoes.  I love looking at what celebrities wore back in the old days and try to adapt them to a more modern look.

3)  I look through my mums old Vogue book. Looking at old articles, covers and pictures of those Hollywood stars from many years ago, is one of my favourite things to do.  It’s fascinating seeing how fashion has changed so much.

4)  I watch vintage fashion shows on youtube.  I just posted about a Chanel fashion show, check it out here.  You can see the influences vintage fashion has had on fashion today.

5)  I look in my wardrobe and use my own brain!

I love looking up fashion and style inspiration.  I spend more time doing that than I do watching TV and going on facebook (which isn’t hard, because I don’t spend much time on FB).

Hope this helps x
