5 Reasons Why I Love To Wear Heels

Heels are an ultimate favourite of mine.

I love them because:

1)  They make an outfit instantly dressy.

2)  They make me taller (not that I need to be any taller).

I like being taller than other people.  I don’t know why.  A lot of the time, when I am not wearing heels, I am still taller than people.

3)  I can walk nicely in them.

I practised walking in heels so much that I no longer feel uncomfortable wearing them.  I can run in heels too, but not very well.

4)  They are suitable in all seasons.

I wear my black pumps in all seasons.   Boots can be worn on cooler spring and autumn days.

5)  They make me feel pretty.

There’s just something about sliding on a cute pair of heels that instantly makes me feel pretty.  A Cinderella effect in a way.

Isn’t it funny how everyone knows how bad high heels are for you, yet we still wear them!

    1. I’m only 5’7.5. But the average height for women in NZ is shorter than that. I vary my heel height depending on the occasion, but for work I wear between Kitten heel (about 1.5 inches) to about 3 inches. I love Steve Madden shoes because he does shoes with a good variety of heel height.

      1. Thanks for this response. Heel height is important especially for work. Too flat and you’re in trouble; too high and your feet are dead at the end of the day. Happy Easter.

      2. That’s ok! I agree. I’m a teacher, so I’m on my feet all day and I have to be careful that I don’t wear heels that are too high. I really like this shop called Picadilly Shoes because their shoes are very comfy and suitable for people on their feet all day! Have a great Easter.
