To Pixie Cut Or Not To Pixie Cut?

I’ve been going on and on in my posts lately about how I can’t wait for my hair to grow out.  But, this morning I made the mistake of going and looking at photos of me with my pixie cut.

Now I cannot decide!  I love having short hair because it is so chic and cute.  My hair is also very fine and doesn’t hold curl well.  When it is long it just hangs there unless I put my hair back everyday.

When my hair is short I don’t have to do anything.  I just let it air dry and it goes into it’s style by itself.  The only thing I miss is not being able to do different styles.

I am in the mullet stage of growing out my hair and my fringe is very long and just hangs there.  I’ve taken to clipping it back again.

I was going to grow my hair down to just below my chin or have a 1920s style bob.

I’m so indecisive.

Here is what I look like with a freshly cut pixie:

Here is when I had long hair:

Here is my bob cut from years ago:

I would get a different bob cut than this one.

What do you reckon?  Bob, pixie or grow out hair?

  1. I’m all for the bob’s right now! Long blunt cut bob’s are really in at the moment (google Lauren Conrad bob!) It’ll be short enough to still let your hair air dry but long enough to allow styling when you want to! So that’s where my vote is going! 🙂 You’re fortunate enough to have a face that pulls off all of these styles, so whatever you go for will look great! 🙂 xx

    1. Hi, thanks for your comment 🙂 It is honestly so hard to choose. One day I’m like grow out the next I’m thinking of getting it cut again! She does have a really cool bob style! Blunt cut bobs are also a favourite of mine! Thank you 🙂

  2. I would say to go for either a classic bob or go for a lob (long bob) for the best of both worlds. Lobs are easy because if their long enough, you can still fit them back into a pony tail, but they still have a very chic tone. Good luck! 🙂 h&k, Clare
