Fashion Files: Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is one of those people you either like or you don’t like.

I have mixed feelings.  What does she actually do?  Is she still a tv presenter?  I’m not bothered enough to actually google her to find out what she does… I only google her to see what she is wearing! (Was she ever a tv presenter?)

I think her fashion is totally awesome (said in A Very Potter Musical voice).

I like how she mixes and matches.  She kind of makes her own trends and wears what looks good on her and not following the typical fashion trends of today.  I strive to be like her, but I have currently got an obsession with crop tops (a few years ago I hated them.  Now I LOVE them – with the right clothes of course).

The above dress is awesome.  The accessories go very well with the dress.  Quite understated but classy.

I love this coat she is wearing.  Now I am starting to think about my winter wardrobe.  I love winter fashion (and then I get sick of it because I want summer).  Anyone know where that coat is from?

The cape/poncho thing to rule all capes/ponchos.  I love the band of mustard and red at the bottom of the cape.  It gives it a bit of a 60s vibe.

I love her hair in this photo.  I am currently growing out my pixie cut and I would LOVE to have her hair at the moment.  Knowing me I’ll grow my hair out and then cut it all off again.  What really catches my eye is the dude in the background with the huge microphone.

This is the same outfit from the photo above this one.  I like how her dress has an underlayer of black (is it tulle?). And her coat is very militaristic.

I like this outfit – it is very 70s style.  The jeans, the coat.  I don’t usually like leopard print much, but this is a gorgeous coat. I like the fluffy collar.

The above outfit is one of my favourites.  I like the mixture of colours and the length of the skirt goes so well with the coat and the boots.

This is fashion inspiration for me.
