Yesterday my parents hosted a party for their 30th wedding anniversary.
My mum and I made a delicious ‘Autumnal Cake’ from a Nigella Lawson cookbook.
It was delicious.
What I love most about having parties with the family, is that we get to use the ‘good’ teacups.
The cake is pretty much made out of maple syrup, self raising flour, sugar, egg, cream of tartar and vanilla essence. The icing is made out of egg whites, maple syrup, butter and salt. We threw chopped pecans on top.
